Edi Moragne Plumeria

Edi Moragne#147  4″ white flower with a medium gold throat, gold eye, white underside; petals lifted and incurved, widely overlapped at center, becoming separated, wide, rounded with slight point; very strong jasmine scent. Jasmine-scented. Petals are lifted, curve inwardly, and are slightly overlapped in the center. jasmine fragrance. Growth habit is dense and rangy. Green leaves are oblanceolate with acuminate tips. Pod parent: Daisy Wilcox. Pollen parent: Scott Pratt. Named for the granddaughter of William Moragne Sr. Fabulous large cream with a thin pink rim around petal edges. Fragrance is very sweet, keeping quality is good. Texture is heavy and good keeping quality. Should be grafted. Recommended. Edi on the south coast of Calif is a pretty pale yellow with slight pink, and much heavier texture than Samoan Fluff. Edi has one of my favorite plumeria scents. Huge leaves. Sensitive to soil compaction. Hard to root.
